Avoiding Cookies

If you do not wish to accept the use of cookies, you can adapt the settings in your web browser (often under Internet options) to automatically reject cookies or to inform you every time a website requests to save cookies.

Deletion of Cookies

You can also delete cookies, which have already been saved in your computer. How to do this depends on the type of browser you use. For users of Microsoft Internet Explorer it can be done from the browser's menu bar. Select Tools/Internet Options. In Internet Explorer 6 and later versions there is a button named "Delete cookies". In older versions of Internet Explorer, click on Settings, then View files. Locate the cookies associated with and delete it, or simply press Ctrl-A and delete all files in the temporary Internet files folder.

Alternatively, you can use Windows Explorer to locate the Temporary Internet Files-folder and follow the procedure described above.
